Terms & Conditions

These terms are a legal agreement between you and Umesh Chandra, trading as Poshan.fit ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using https://poshanfit.com you agree to them.

1. What Poshan.fit is

Poshan.fit is a subscription web application that estimates your calorie and macronutrient needs, lets you log food, water, weight and activity, and generates meal plans, recipes and shopping lists built around Indian food. It is a wellness and educational tool.

2. Not medical advice

Nothing in the service is medical, dietetic or clinical advice, and we are not your doctor or dietitian. Estimates use published population formulas (Mifflin-St Jeor, activity multipliers, the US Navy body-fat method) and can be wrong for you. Do not use Poshan.fit if you are under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of an eating disorder, or have a condition or medication that affects appetite, weight, kidneys, liver, heart or thyroid, unless a qualified professional has told you it is appropriate. Stop and seek help if you feel unwell. We never set a target below 1200 kcal (women) / 1500 kcal (men) or plan faster than 0.75 kg per week; those limits are safety floors, not recommendations.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information (age, sex, height, weight) — the numbers we compute depend on it.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login secure. Tell us at once at support@poshanfit.com if you suspect misuse.
  • One account per person. Accounts are not transferable.

4. Free account, plans and payment

  • Creating an account is free and stays free: you keep your body analysis (calorie and macro targets, BMI, body-fat estimate, goal date) with no time limit and no card. Logging, the food database, recipes, meal plans and the other features listed on Pricing require a paid plan.
  • Current plans (the price shown is the price charged; no tax is added at checkout): Basic Monthly ₹199; Basic Yearly ₹1,499; Premium Monthly ₹349; Premium Yearly ₹2,499. Prices are in Indian Rupees and may change; a change never affects a period you have already paid for.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Depending on the option you choose at checkout, a plan is either a one-time pass for the stated period (no automatic renewal) or an auto-renewing subscription that charges at the start of each period until you cancel.
  • If a renewal payment fails, we keep your access open for a short grace period and retry; after that, access to paid features pauses until payment succeeds.
  • Your first payment carries a 7-day money-back guarantee. Cancellation and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Acceptable use

Do not reverse-engineer, scrape or resell the service, share an account, attempt to bypass subscription checks, upload unlawful content, or use the service to harm yourself or others. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Content and intellectual property

The food database, recipes, planner logic, text and design are ours or licensed to us. Food photographs are Creative-Commons images credited on our Credits page. You keep ownership of what you log and upload (including progress photos); you give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the service is provided “as is” and may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may add, change or remove features. If we discontinue the service we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for outcomes of dietary choices you make using the information the service provides.

9. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time and can ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may close accounts that breach these terms; if we do so without cause, we refund the unused part of the current paid period.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Please write to us first — most issues are resolved within 2 business days.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the app or by email at least 7 days before they take effect.
